Abbe Hohmann specializes in site selection and disposition for real estate users, developers and property owners. Building on more than 25 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, Abbe launched Site Strategies Advisory in 2012 and serves as president of the company.
Abbe’s professional experience, coupled with extensive community and civic service, gives her a unique skill set to guide clients in land development, zoning, government finance and property management. She enjoys representing a wide variety of clients in real estate projects across central Indiana, including: Indianapolis Public Schools; Citizens Energy Group; Golden Rule/United Healthcare Insurance Co.; Indiana University; Indianapolis Airport Authority; IU Health; Lacy Farms; Meijer, Inc.; Menard, Inc.; Freeman Development Corp.; and the State Bank of Lizton.
Land developments Abbe has represented in Indiana include: Clay Terrace lifestyle center in Carmel; IU Health in-patient hospital and office building in Avon; INTECH Park, the IPS Coke bottling plant, Meijer grocery on Keystone Ave., and the Marriott Hotel at River Crossing, all in Indianapolis.
Abbe holds the CCIM designation, earned for proficiency in investment and commercial real estate analysis and practice, and is a woman owned business. Abbe was recognized in 2009 as a “Woman of Influence” by the Indianapolis Business Journal (IBJ), and has been named multiple times to the list of “Who’s Who in Commercial Real Estate” by the IBJ.
Abbe serves on the Board of Directors of the following organizations: United Way of Central Indiana (UWCI), the Indianapolis City Market Corp., and the Greater Indianapolis Progress Committee (GIPC). She also served in former roles as IndyRezone, Co-Chair of the Steering Committee; UWCI, Chair of the Capital Projects Fund Committee; the Indianapolis-Marion County Building Authority, Chair of the Board of Directors; and the Urban Land Institute, Chair of the IN District Council and Facilitator of the Council of Elected Officials.
Originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, Abbe graduated from Chatard High School and earned a B.S. from Purdue University where she was recognized with a Distinguished Alumni award in 2006.
